Disappointing news from Vikramvedha Team

It looks like the release of Madhavan-Vijay Sethupathi film,Vikram Vedha, has been postponed indefinitely. The film, directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, was supposed to release on July 7, but now has been pushed, courtesy the shutdown of theatres in Tamil Nadu. The film's producer S Shashikanth was quoted saying that since there is a complete shutdown of theatres in the states, the film's release is not possible on July 7. Since, there is no clarity on when the strike would be called off; the release has been postponed indefinitely.
